Ragged Falls ~ Cody & Mitchell

On Saturday Cody, Mitchell and I went and explored some of out own "backyard"! After having an afternoon wedding shower for Mitchell and I we all decided to take a little evening adventure and head up to Algonquin Park to explore "Ragged Falls". Cody and his good friend Colin had gone and climbed "Ragged Falls" on Canada Day and after seeing their GoPro footage we wanted to return and see it for ourselves! We set out from the farm with a sunny sky which soon turned into heavy rain the closer we got to the park, but once we made it to the trail the clouds cleared and a lovely bright evening setting sun showed its face. With GoPros in hand the boys started up the front of the rapids jumping from rock to rock. I took the optional side trail and met them at the top as my camera is not friends with the water! But after finding careful footing and dodging dripping trees I was able to capture some pretty awesome images of the boys on their climb.

It only took a 35min drive to get to this spectacular place! I can't believe that after growing up here all my life I had never been to "Ragged Falls" before!
